Joseph Morrey
has chosen to limit his practice to representing
individuals and families suffering from the disastrous
effects personal injury or death of a loved one
causes them. He believes in leveling the playing
field by aggressive investigation and preparation
of his clients’ cases. Mr. Morrey firmly
believes that the one place which allows the individual
to stand on equal footing with big business and
insurance companies is in the courtroom. He considers
all of his clients personal friends and genuinely
cares about their success and happiness in life.
This “personalized,” but aggressive,
approach results in what Mr. Morrey believes to
be the best possible settlements and jury verdicts
being achieved.
Mr. Morrey and his wife, Diane, have
a son attending Missouri University of Science & Technology,
two daughters who attend Truman State University and
one daughter attending St. Joseph Christian High School.
He presently serves on various local boards including the
Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity and is a certified
track coach. Since graduating from the University of
Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1977, Joe
has lived in St. Joseph and has been trying cases
in northwest Missouri and the greater Kansas City
area representing injured people and their families.
Mr. Morrey has tried over 100 jury trials to verdict
as an assistant prosecuting attorney, public defender,
and private attorney. He maintains membership
in the Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Association
of Trial Attorneys (MATA), and the American Association
for Justice (AAJ). He has obtained a professional
“B-V” rating by Martindale-Hubble,
the most recognized and respected national lawyers
rating service. This rating signifies very high legal
ability and ethical standards and is obtained only
by years of hard work and the recommendation of
other attorneys and judges. Mr. Morrey practices
being totally prepared to take clients’ cases
all the way to the courtroom while maintaining
the highest degree of honesty and ethical standards.
His hallmark is his abiding desire to truly understand
and then convincingly articulate the actual effect
his clients’ injuries have had on them and
their families. Recent litigation in which he has been
involved include serious injury and wrongful death
claims resulting from vehicular collisions, falls,
nursing home neglect, and medical malpractice.
He firmly adheres to the proposition that the trust
and respect of satisfied clients remains his best form
of advertising. |
